Who can participate?

The trek is open to those aged 18 and over and is open to EY and non-EY staff members - a great experience to have with your friends and family!

What are the fundraising requirements?

Each individual will have a personal fundraising target of £350. You will have opportunity to create your fundraising pages via the Enthuse fundraising platform, once you have paid for your place. The EY Foundation fundraising team will provide guidance to help you achieve your fundraising target.

Day by day itinerary (subject to change)

Day 1 - Friday 20th June

• Meet at Newcastle train station
• Train to Corbridge
• Begin 9km walk
• Accommodation provided, with dinner

Day 2 - Saturday 21st June

• Breakfast provided by accommodation
• 21km walk from Humsaugh to Twice Brewed
• Packed lunch (provided)
• Accommodation provided, with dinner

Day 3 - Sunday 22nd June

• Breakfast provided by accommodation
• 19km walk from Twice Brewed to Greenhead, then Haltwhistle
• Packed lunch (provided)
• Train to Corbridge, then on to Newcastle

What's included

• 2 nights accommodation
• 2 nights dinner
• Packed lunch for 2 days
• 1 First Aid qualified mountain leader with key First Aid Kit

What's not included

• Lunch on Day 1
• Train travel from Newcastle to Corbridge on Day 1 (approx £8)
• Train travel from Haltwhistle to Newcastle or Corbridge on Day 3 (approx £10-£20)
• Bag transportation is £50 for three-day walks, per bag (this is an optional extra to be paid for by participants who can request this via fundraising@eyfoundation.ey.com)
