As you are covering the cost of the adventure there will no penalty for not meeting the fundraising target. Your group are ambitious about the impact they want to have on young people’s lives so we hope that you will raise as much as you can to support the group target.
The hike is classified as medium – this is mainly due to the length of walking each day and the varying terrain.
To make the most of the experience you will want to have a good level of fitness. But don’t worry there is plenty of time to train over the next 10 months!
Lost Earth hike leads will be brilliant motivators as they have guided several treks previously!
Hostels or equivalent dormitories will be booked as accommodation for participants. Details will be sent across in due course by Lost Earth once you have booked your place on the hike.
Lost Earth Adventure first aid qualified mountain leaders will be responsible for leading the orientation of the group and ensuring maximum safety in all weather conditions. They have run many hikes like this and have suitable risk assessments and emergency plans in place.
The coast to take part is £499 per person. The fundraising goal is £350 per person, however there is not a penalty for not achieving this fundraising target as you have covered the full cost of the trek.

We are aiming to close sign-ups on Friday 4th April 2025 to make sure everyone has enough time to fundraise and train to get the best out of the experience.
