From coaching young people through telephone interviews and hosting students during work experience to helping social entrepreneurs hone their pitching decks, we couldn’t do what we do without our volunteers.
You support young people from low-income backgrounds into the workplace, offering your time and expertise to reduce barriers to employment and help those we work with succeed in their careers.
Whether you’ve given an hour or weeks of your time, thank you. This is the impact you’ve had…
If I was to describe my time on the programme in one word it would be extraordinary, as it brought me a whole new experience where I was able to meet new people, learn new things and also it helped me to understand my future aspirations.
Honestly, it’s been amazing. It’s been incredible. We’ve learned so much about being professional in a workplace in general that I don’t think we would have been able to get this information anywhere else. My network has grown immensely and honestly, I don’t think there’s anything else I can say apart from a great big thank you to everyone at the EY Foundation.
Following all the support & guidance of the mentor I had on the EY Foundation programme, I received offers from all five universities I applied for and an apprenticeship in the tech sector – which I am thrilled about.
