Lake District Triple Challenge


Join us for a fun-filled day of trekking, biking, and kayaking in the beautiful Lake District National Park.

 

You will arrive on the Friday, ready to take on Coniston Water, Grizedale Forest and the summit of the Old Man of Coniston on the following day. All equipment and accommodation will be included.

 

The money you raise from your Triple Challenge will support the EY Foundation's efforts to assist young people from low-income backgrounds by offering them paid employability skills training, work experience, mentoring, and alumni activities.

 

Individuals will cover their own costs, ensuring that all sponsorship and Gift Aid funds are donated to EY Foundation.


When?

The challenge will take place on Saturday 1st July 2023, with arrivals beginning on Friday 30th June 2023.

 

Where?

Lake District, Murley Moss Oxenholme Road, Kendal LA9 7RL.

 

Itinerary:

Day 1 (Friday 30th June): Arrival in Lake District

Day 2 (Saturday 1st July): Challenge day! Bike into Grizelda Forest, trek the Old Man of Coniston and kayak on Coniston water.

Day 3 (Sunday 2nd July): Departure

 

How much do I need to raise?

Each participant must reach a minimum fundraising target of £500.

Please note: this sum stays the same for each individual even when fundraising as part of a team.

 

Cost:

The total cost of the challenge is £394 (£85 non-refundable admin fee incl.).

 

Accommodation and equipment for the challenge is included (please see application form for more details).
